1979 Chevy Camaro
July 23, 2008
The 1979 Chevrolet Camaro was basically the same as its predecessors. Styling and design changes were minimal and the important mechanical components of the car still retained the parts from its predecessors as well. The 1979 Chevrolet Camaro had become more of a twin of the Pontiac Trans Am with the continuing changes of the Camaro, leaving behind the unique styling of the Chevrolet Camaro models of the late 1960s. This significantly reduced the allure of the 1979 Chevrolet Camaro. However, there are still some who consider the 1979 Chevrolet Camaro to be a worthy vehicle for collection.
For those who are restoring or maintaing a classic Chevrolet Camaro car, the authenticity of the vehicle is of utmost importance. For the 1979 Chevy Camaro, this can be a difficult proposition seeing as the 1979 Chevy Camaro is already several decades old and finding original replacement parts is already very difficult. Because of the appeal of the Chevrolet Camaro line of cars as collector car models, many car parts vendors carry replicas of car parts of the Chevrolet Camaro. Thus, those who are restoring or repairing their 1979 Chevy Camaro can still find parts for their cars.
